Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in for a Project Director. The Project Director is responsible for to lead the execution of a large-scale modular Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) transformation program. You will serve as the primary point of contact with leadership and oversee all aspects of project delivery, governance, vendor management, and contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership across all program areas and project workstreams
- Serve as the main escalation point for DHS and stakeholders
- Drive governance, contract performance, and strategic alignment
- Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and resource planning
- Ensure vendor coordination, compliance, and milestone tracking
- Approve invoices and manage contract-level performance measures
Qualifications
- 10 years leading large-scale IT modernization projects, preferably in Medicaid or public sector
- 5 years as a Project Director on similar multi-vendor programs
- Strong grasp of MMIS, CMS certification, and health IT transformation
- PMP or PgMP preferred
- U.S.-based; located within 20 miles of Harrisburg, PA
Preferred:
- Executive experience in managing state Medicaid or federal health programs
- Background in managing Agile, hybrid, or PMO-led programs
