Agile Staffing and Professional Services is recruiting on behalf of a confidential Tier 1 automotive manufacturer in the Sheboygan, WI area. This is a direct hire opportunity within a highly technical, advanced manufacturing environment.
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with experience in PLCs, robotics, and automated systems to support a high-performance manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
This is not a basic maintenance role — this position is for technicians who can diagnose problems, work independently, and support advanced equipment in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems (conveyors, bearings, belts, frameworks)
- Diagnose electrical systems (480V, 240V, 120V, 24VDC)
- Work with PLCs (Allen Bradley / Siemens) — review and make basic adjustments
- Troubleshoot ABB robots and automation systems
- Maintain and support vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, ABB, etc.)
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, valves, and sensors
- Support equipment installs, upgrades, and plant projects
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across the facility
What You Need
- Associate’s degree in Electromechanical Technology, journeyman certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting ability (electrical mechanical)
- Experience with PLCs, robotics, or automation is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime and shifts as needed
