What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at Agile Resources, Inc.?
Our client in the healthcare technology industry is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team!
Location: This is a remote-first hybrid role based in Downtown Denver, CO. You’ll work mostly from home, joining this team in the office just a few days each month for team collaboration.
Candidates must be located in the Denver area.
Pay: $48-53/hour W2
Please note this role is W2 only and is not open to independent or third-party contractors on C2C.
Here is what you will be doing:
- Lead and organize all essential agile rituals, ensuring Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Daily Scrums remain productive and focused.
- Serve as a dedicated obstacle remover for multiple delivery squads, proactively clearing hurdles and managing external dependencies.
- Guide teams toward higher levels of autonomy and agile proficiency through consistent mentorship and process refinement.
- Work closely with Product Management and business partners to synchronize project goals with team capacity and execution.
- Utilize performance data and workflow visualizations to provide clear visibility into team progress and areas for optimization.
- Coordinate with development and quality assurance departments to streamline the release cycle and maintain deployment stability.
- Bridge the gap between engineering requirements and project tasks by applying a foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure and software architecture.
Here is what our ideal candidate has:
- 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master within an agile environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent professional agile certification.
- Proven track record of managing multiple teams and improving delivery flow using Scrum and Kanban principles.
- Expert-level proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and agile reporting dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively between technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of software development concepts, including CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control.
Salary : $48 - $53
