This RF Engineer role supports research and development initiatives focused on signal behavior, modeling, and technical investigation. The position is designed for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who brings strong RF/DSP fundamentals, intellectual curiosity, and a disciplined analytical approach. Success in this role means asking the right technical questions, methodically pursuing answers, and contributing meaningful insights that advance ongoing engineering efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct analytical investigations into RF signal propagation and related engineering challenges, using theory to guide research direction.
• Evaluate assumptions, identify gaps in understanding, and develop structured approaches to test and validate hypotheses.
• Support modeling and simulation activities using Python-based tools to analyze RF behavior and performance.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate research, generate code prototypes, and explore algorithmic solutions.
• Document research findings, methodologies, and conclusions in a clear and reproducible manner.
• Participate in knowledge-building activities during the initial onboarding period, including structured learning and technical discovery.
• Collaborate with team members to review results, refine approaches, and integrate findings into broader engineering initiatives.
• Assist with limited, guided lab-related activities as part of training and hands-on familiarization.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent early-career experience in RF/DSP engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset in RF engineering, with the ability to question assumptions and let inquiry drive technical direction.
• Solid foundation in RF engineering and signal propagation theory, with emphasis on RF/DSP fundamentals over domain-specific telecom experience.
• Ability to rapidly and incrementally follow through on research questions and investigations to drive measurable results.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and integrate into a supportive engineering team environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Foundational knowledge of Python sufficient to understand modeling and simulation workflows and effectively utilize AI tools in support of R&D objectives.
• Exposure to DOCSIS or telecom technologies, with willingness to learn through provided training materials.
