About the Role
We are seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to take ownership of an active docket of 35–40 litigation files in a fast-paced, trial-ready boutique. You will work directly with two attorneys and play a central role in keeping cases moving from filing through verdict.
What You’ll Do
- Draft and file pleadings, discovery responses, and motions across an active docket of ∼35–40 litigation files
- Take full ownership of litigation timelines, deadlines, and court calendars with minimal oversight
- Coordinate with opposing counsel, courts, and expert witnesses to keep cases on track
- Provide hands-on trial preparation and on-site trial support when cases go to court
- Manage pre-litigation support as needed across the firm’s dual-track caseload (pre-lit and lit)
- Work directly with two attorneys in a tight-knit environment where output directly impacts client outcomes
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 5–7 years of litigation paralegal experience, plaintiff-side personal injury strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage 30 simultaneous litigation files independently
- Trial preparation and in-courtroom support experience
- Familiarity with Colorado civil procedure and state court filings
- Boutique or small-firm background (under 15 people)
- Pre-litigation case support experience
Education
- Paralegal certificate or associate’s / bachelor’s degree
