What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Painter position at Aggregate Processing Inc?
Job Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent - Preferred but not required.
- 5-10 years' experience in a steel fabrication paint shop, extensive knowledge of material preparation and paint equipment with a general knowledge of steel fabrication.
- Proficient in associated steel preparation, paint & sandblasting processes required.
- Implementation of the proper paint techniques and proficiency interpreting all paint mix specifications.
- Ability to meet required equipment paint schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret paint specifications and mix requirements.
- Proficient in the operation and utilization of all shop painting equipment and forklift machinery.
- Must maintain all tools in a safe working condition and perform scheduled maintenance as needed / daily.
- Must be Safe, Dependable and Well Organized.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of painting / working in a fabrication paint facility, while working on the shop concrete floors / in the yard for extended periods of time.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and accountable for your actions.
