Park Services at AGGIELAND SAFARI

Aggieland Safari in Bryan, TX is looking for a part time non-exempt Park Services worker to join our weekend team! We are located on 18075 FM 974. Our ideal candidate is a motivated individual who is punctual, detail-oriented, and hard-working.

This position reports to the Customer Service Managers & Park Director. The position performs all custodial duties on Saturday and Sundays, as well as assists with light projects and minor landscaping.

Required Shift Availability:

Minimum 3 Saturdays per month - 8:30am to 5:30pm

Minimum 2 Sundays per month - 9am to 5:30pm

Optional Shift Availability:

Mondays - 12pm to 5pm

Thursdays - 12pm to 5pm

Fridays - 8:30am to 1:30pm, 12:30pm to 5:30pm, or 8:30am to 5:30pm

Experience required:

At least 18 years of age or older.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Experience preferred:

Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, and/or grounds care.

Current CPR/FA Certification or ability to obtain.

High School Diploma or GED.

Examples of Work:

Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls.

Restroom cleaning and restocking of supplies.

Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.

Empty trash and recycling bins.

Maintain cleaning inventory and submit purchase requests for items.

Replace air filters in all buildings.

Assist maintenance team in light housekeeping duties.

Spraying weeds around buildings and walkways.

Working a counter register intermittently if/when retail requires assistance.

Aggieland Safari is open Thursday-Monday from 9AM-5PM, as well as all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas day. Applicants should also be able to work in all weather conditions, as much of the work is performed outside. The applicant should be able to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
