Stellar Lighting Company is hiring a Permanent LED Lighting Installation Technician to join our growing team in the Sacramento region. We install high-end, year-round LED lighting systems that transform homes for the holidays, sporting events, and every day in between. If you like working outside, being on ladders, and creating an install that homeowners are blown away by, this is the job for you.
We are the leading Everlights installer in Northern California, sponsors of the UC Davis football team, and a rapidly growing local business built on quality workmanship and a customer-first approach.
What You'll Do
- Install permanent LED lighting systems on residential and commercial roofs, soffits, and fascia
- Measure, cut, and mount custom channel along roof edges
- Route wire cleanly and safely to power supply locations
- Program and test lighting systems using the manufacturer's mobile app
- Troubleshoot electrical and connection issues on site
- Provide a clean, professional customer experience from arrival to walkthrough
- Maintain a safe, organized work vehicle and job site
What We're Looking For
- Comfort working on ladders and roofs at heights (up to 30 feet)
- Strong attention to detail — this is a finish craft, not a rush job
- Basic mechanical or electrical skills (low-voltage experience is a big plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
- Clean driving record and valid CA driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather
- Positive attitude and strong communication with customers and teammates
Bonus Points For
- Prior experience with holiday lighting, gutter installation, roofing, or exterior trades
- Familiarity with Everlights, JellyFish, Trimlight, or similar systems
- Experience troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems
