Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Employment Specialist, based in Chicago, IL. The Employment Specialist will be responsible for working directly with Refugees to provide tailored job support. Key responsibilities include conducting interviews, offering training for workforce readiness, providing customer service, assisting with job placements, and partnering with clients to meet employment goals. The role requires collaboration with community resources to support program objectives and keep track of outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with Refugees and community partners
  • Experience in Interviewing and Recruiting practices to support job placements
  • Training skills to conduct workforce readiness and skills development programs
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural sensitivity
  • Proficiency in organizing and managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with Refugee or underserved populations is a plus
  • Must speak Spanish, Arabic,French, and Chinese
