Agentry PR is a boutique agency, small in size but loud in its messaging. Founded in 2010 by Erin Hawker, Agentry PR is a full-service marketing communications agency based in New York City, specializing in the fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment sectors across all facets of marketing and public relations — from brand strategy and media outreach to events, sponsorships, and VIP relations. The agency prides itself on delivering customized campaigns with measurable ROI, leveraging strong media connections and expertise in luxury branding, with clients including notable brands such as Uniqlo, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Cadillac.
THE ROLE
We are seeking an Account Executive to join our fast-paced, high-energy team in New York City. This is a fully in-person position — candidates must be based in NYC. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, driven communicator looking to grow their career across fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment PR at a dynamic boutique agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support day-to-day account management across multiple client accounts
• Draft pitches, press releases, media alerts, and other client-facing materials
• Build and maintain media lists and cultivate relationships with junior media contacts
• Monitor media coverage and compile clip reports for clients
• Assist in the planning and execution of press events, launches, and activations
• Research media opportunities and stay current on industry trends
• Coordinate logistics and communications across accounts with strong attention to detail
• Collaborate with senior team members on strategy, brainstorms, and client presentations
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1-2 years of PR or marketing communications experience, preferably at an agency
• Must reside in New York City — this is a fully in-person role
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail is essential
• Familiarity with junior media contacts and a working understanding of the media landscape
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy boutique environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience writing pitches, press releases, and client-facing materials
• Passion for fashion, lifestyle, and/or entertainment PR
