Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SCADA / PLC Programmer to design, develop, and deploy industrial automation solutions. This is a hands-on, programming-intensive role where you’ll transform engineering control narratives into fully functional PLC logic and intuitive SCADA/HMI systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Convert engineering control narratives into PLC logic, SCADA configurations, and point lists
• Develop PLC programs using:
o Ladder Logic
o Structured Text
o Function Block Programming
• Configure SCADA systems (points, RTUs, templates, communication protocols)
• Design and develop HMI/SCADA screens with strong UI/UX standards
• Perform testing, validation, and system troubleshooting
• Lead/support field commissioning & system integration
• Validate system communications and resolve performance issues
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and field technicians
• Maintain accurate documentation for all system configurations and changes
Required Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in:
o PLC Programming (Ladder Logic required)
o SCADA / HMI configuration
• Strong knowledge of:
o Industrial control systems
o Communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
• Ability to read electrical drawings & P&IDs
• Experience troubleshooting across:
o Electrical
o Mechanical
o Networking systems
• Hands-on experience with PLC platforms & SCADA tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Water/Wastewater, Utilities, or Industrial Automation
• UI/UX or graphic design experience for HMI systems
• Experience with system integration & commissioning
• Familiarity with Linx configuration or similar tools
• Associate degree / certification in Automation, Electrical, or related field
