NA Demand Planner, AGCO Corporation, Duluth, GA.
Maintain aggregate retail forecasts to model level with monthly detail. Maintain aggregate inventory planning to company objectives for continuous improvement relative to competitive industry levels. Develop production requirements to model level to inventory objectives in consideration of retail opportunities/risks, manufacturing capabilities and detail dealer order demand. Communicate production requirements to Manufacturing to support monthly factory Sales and Operations meetings and WW Sales and Operations review. Work with Order Management to ensure production requirements support appropriate level of dealer orders to meet the retail objectives. Support Demand Planning team with additional analytics to advance Demand Planning capabilities and systems.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Business Management, Supply Chain, Material Planning, Demand Planning, Industrial Management, Technology Management, or related field and 5 years of experience working in demand planning in the automotive, agriculture, manufacturing construction (machines), aviation, industrial, or heavy machinery industries. Of experience required, must also have 3 years of experience in: (i) working in order management, fulfillment operations, supply chain, or supply chain forecasting; (ii) using planning tools and enterprise systems such as JD Edwards or SAP; (iii) conducting advanced formulas for analytics and graphs in Excel; (iv) utilizing ERP/MRP systems; and (v) working with dealer/distributor enterprises and sales organizations. Must also have 1 year experience in conducting statistical analysis within planning or forecasting. Experience may be gained concurrently.
