Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager based in Houston, TX. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects. They will coordinate with stakeholders, monitor project schedules, manage budgets, and ensure all work complies with quality standards and contractual obligations. Additionally, the Project Manager will identify and address risks, foster clear communication among teams, and resolve challenges to maintain project momentum.
Qualifications
- Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation effectively.
- Budgeting and Estimation: Strong skills in cost control, financial planning, and preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Construction and Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with design and construction processes, including engineering and inspection protocols.
- Problem-solving and Leadership: Experience in resolving project challenges with innovative solutions and providing clear direction to team members.
- Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency with tools and software: Experience using project management tools and relevant technologies for efficient workflow management.
- Educational Background: A degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale construction projects is highly beneficial.
- Certifications: PMP or other relevant project management certifications are an advantage.
