The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Disaster Recovery Compliance Manager to join our standby mobilization team for Texas General Land Office (GLO) related recovery projects. This role focuses on high-level audit, reconciliation, and federal compliance.
The Logistics (Critical – Please Read):
This is a Remote-First position during the audit/reconciliation phase, but requires Immediate On-Site Deployment to affected Texas Coastal Districts upon disaster activation. Applicants must be able to travel within 24-48 hours of notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex financial reconciliations and audit files for FEMA/GLO grant compliance.
- Ensure all recovery documentation meets strict federal and state regulatory standards.
- Deploy to coastal field offices during active disaster recovery operations.
- Coordinate with local officials and stakeholders to verify damage assessments and funding eligibility.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Disaster Recovery, GLO, or FEMA Public Assistance programs.
- Strong background in financial auditing or compliance management.
- Must reside in Texas with a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to mobilize and travel to coastal regions on short notice (24-48 hours).
This position is temporarily remote.
Compensation: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
