The Senior Assembly Technician / FAA Repairman is a hands-on technical expert responsible for the assembly, test, troubleshooting, and return-to-service activities of aerospace products and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced mechanical/electromechanical assembly and subassembly operations.
- Execute functional testing and document results.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble components per approved data.
- Complete accurate shop travelers and work orders.
- Follow safety, FOD, and quality requirements.
- Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6–10 years aerospace assembly/MRO experience.
- Blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement proficiency.
- Experience with ATP/ATE test equipment.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certificate preferred.

FAA Repairman Requirements
Meets eligibility for FAA Repairman Certificate under repair station authorization; completes required OJT and maintains regulatory compliance.
