What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content and Media Producer position at AGC East Tennessee?
Associated General Contractors (AGC) East Tennessee is seeking a creative Content & Media Producer to develop and tell the stories of the people and companies building our region.
This role will develop short marketing videos, social media content, event photography, and digital media that highlight the commercial construction industry across East Tennessee.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys storytelling through design, video, photography, and communication, and can take an idea and run with it.
This is an opportunity to create meaningful content while working with top leaders in one of the region’s most important industries.
POSITION DETAILS
Type: Part-Time / Contract Work
Hours: 15–25 hours per week
Location: Chattanooga, TN (on-site event and jobsite visits will be required)
This position will report to the CEO and work closely with the Director of Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Video Production & Storytelling
Produce short marketing videos to promote construction careers, Construction Career Center, AGC programs, and AGC member organizations
Capture and edit video content at AGC events and jobsites
Create short-form video for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
Social Media Content
Develop and publish engaging content highlighting AGC members, projects, and industry stories
Create short videos, reels, and graphics for digital platforms
Help expand AGC’s digital storytelling and online presence
Event Photography and Coverage
Photograph AGC meetings, students, programs, and special events
Capture quick video clips and social media content during events
Produce post-event recap content
Graphic Design
Create digital graphics for social media, event promotion, email campaigns, and industry initiatives
Website & Digital Content
Update website content and post news announcements
Upload videos, photos, and articles
Magazine Support
Assist with visual content, photography, and design elements for STRUCTURE Magazine, AGC East Tennessee’s industry publication
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates must have experience in:
Video editing (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
Photography and photo editing
Graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
Social media content creation
WordPress or website editing
We are looking for someone creative, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, able to manage multiple content projects, and interested in storytelling and media production.
