Located in Houston, our brand-new, 2,850 sq ft practice is a serene, resort-inspired space designed to feel warm, elevated, and inviting for both patients and team members. With 8 operatories total—4 hygiene and 4 restorative/surgical—our studio blends state-of-the-art technology with a high-touch, hospitality-driven approach to care. Think unfinished stone, teak, rattan lighting, cream and white tones, gold accents, and our signature turquoise palette woven into a calm, polished experience.
At AGAVI, we believe the front desk is more than a check-in station. It is the heartbeat of the patient experience. We are looking for a warm, organized, enthusiastic Dental Receptionist / Insurance Coordinator who loves people, communicates with calm confidence, and takes pride in making every interaction feel seamless and welcoming. Fluent English/Spanish bilingual skills are strongly preferred.
Role Summary
As our Dental Receptionist / Insurance Coordinator, you will help create a first impression that feels more like a luxury resort than a traditional dental office. You will greet patients, manage schedules, verify insurance benefits, explain financial expectations clearly, and keep the front office flowing with professionalism and warmth. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is friendly, detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in dental insurance coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional customer service
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and coordinate patient communication with enthusiasm
- Verify PPO insurance benefits accurately before appointments
- Explain copays, deductibles, estimates, and balances in a clear and patient-friendly way
- Schedule appointments efficiently and help manage recall to reduce no-shows
- Handle check-in, check-out, payments, and patient paperwork smoothly
- Support treatment coordination and help patients feel informed and cared for
- Maintain accuracy, organization, HIPAA compliance, and strong team communication
Pay: $15.10 - $25.10 per hour
