We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and supporting food preparation activities. Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and preparing simple dishes under the guidance of chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Support the team during busy service periods by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are tidy.
- Help with banquet setups and breakdowns as needed for special events.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in food service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal preparation and service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is an advantage.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
