What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician position at Agassiz Equipment & Rental?
Agassiz Equipment & Rental is hiring a Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain the farm and construction equipment our customers rely on. You’ll work on a variety of machines, with both shop work and field service as needed.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain light and heavy farm and construction equipment
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, drive systems, and related components
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance in the shop and at customer locations as needed
- Work with the service and support teams to keep customers’ equipment running
What we’re looking for
- Experience working with diesel engines and farm or construction equipment
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- At least two years of related experience preferred
- CDL not required
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. Occasional weekend hours may be needed.
Pay and benefits
Pay: $27.02 - $32.54 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
