Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport goods to designated locations efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and machinery to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the route.
- Assist with truck loading and unloading processes when necessary, ensuring proper handling of cargo.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience as a CDL Truck Driver preferred; strong knowledge of DOT regulations is essential.
- Ability to operate trucks safely under various road conditions.
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo as needed.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and record-keeping.
- Good communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.
