Job Summary
Agapy Home Care is seeking a dedicated, organized, and compassionate Home Care Supervisor to oversee the delivery of exceptional non-medical home care services. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of client care through effective caregiver supervision, service coordination, compliance oversight, and operational support. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of home care services to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, client-centered care.
- Conduct comprehensive initial client assessments and ongoing reassessments to identify care needs and ensure appropriate service plans.
- Coordinate caregiver schedules and client assignments to optimize continuity of care and operational efficiency.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate caregiver performance, providing coaching and support to maintain high standards of service.
- Assist with caregiver recruitment, onboarding, orientation, training, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, state of Illinois regulations, and applicable industry standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client, family, and employee concerns, resolving issues with empathy and sound judgment.
- Monitor service quality through regular client follow-ups, caregiver observations, and satisfaction assessments.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client and employee documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate, document, and follow up on incidents, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous performance improvement initiatives to enhance service excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the Administrator to support agency growth, operational effectiveness, and strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, families, caregivers, referral sources, and community partners.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or human services, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of caregiver scheduling, client service coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate, professional, and committed to providing exceptional client care.
- Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client home visits, as required
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
