Overview

Gentle Touch Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated, organized Home Care Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality non-medical home care services. This position is responsible for supervising caregivers, coordinating client services, conducting in-home assessments, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and state regulations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in caregiver management and client service coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily home care operations and client service delivery.
• Conduct initial client assessments and periodic reassessments.
• Coordinate caregiver schedules and client assignments.
• Supervise caregivers and monitor job performance.
• Assist with caregiver recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and Illinois regulations.
• Address client, family, and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor service quality and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate client and employee records.
• Assist with incident reporting and follow-up.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with the Administrator to support agency growth and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and community partners.

Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.
• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel to client homes throughout the service area.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in home care, senior care, customer service, social services, or healthcare support services.
• Experience managing caregiver schedules and staffing.
• Knowledge of Illinois home care regulations.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
