Overview
Gentle Touch Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated, organized Home Care Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality non-medical home care services. This position is responsible for supervising caregivers, coordinating client services, conducting in-home assessments, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and state regulations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in caregiver management and client service coordination.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily home care operations and client service delivery.
- Conduct initial client assessments and periodic reassessments.
- Coordinate caregiver schedules and client assignments.
- Supervise caregivers and monitor job performance.
- Assist with caregiver recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and Illinois regulations.
- Address client, family, and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor service quality and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate client and employee records.
- Assist with incident reporting and follow-up.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with the Administrator to support agency growth and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and community partners.
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Valid Illinois Driver's License.
- Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel to client homes throughout the service area.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in home care, senior care, customer service, social services, or healthcare support services.
- Experience managing caregiver schedules and staffing.
- Knowledge of Illinois home care regulations.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
