A day in the life of our Development Director:
As our Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and deepening relationships with donors and prospects. Your days will be filled with:
- Participating as a member of our leadership
- Collaborating with volunteer leaders to secure resources that fuel our mission
- Utilizing Salesforce to plan and document the organization's activities and progress
- Sending out personalized gift acknowledgements and thank-you notes
- Setting and following up on appointments
- Calling people on the phone to make personal connections
- Leading the success of events
- Participating in our capital campaign
- Meeting with prospects and donors to create long-lasting relationships
- Developing and implementing fundraising strategies, striving to exceed our goals
- Curating stories that communicate our mission and compel people to give
- Asking people to give and getting a"Yes!"
