Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Revenue Cycle Manager to join our healthcare finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end revenue cycle processes, ensuring accurate billing, coding, and claims management to optimize revenue flow. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of healthcare billing and reimbursement procedures. The Revenue Cycle Manager will play a critical role in maintaining compliance and improving the efficiency of our revenue operations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process patient billing and insurance claims accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor claim submissions and follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to verify patient information and ensure proper coding for services rendered.
  • Maintain detailed records of billing activities, adjustments, and collections.
  • Identify trends in claim denials or delays and implement strategies for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and payer-specific guidelines.
  • Assist in resolving patient billing inquiries and communicate effectively with insurance companies.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring all billing practices adhere to policies.

Experience

  • Previous experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, or coding is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (such as CPT, ICD-10), and insurance processes.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, patients, and insurance providers.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and compliance is highly valued.

Pay: $46,737.03 - $56,285.46 per year
