AGAPE ADVENTURE ACADEMY — GUIDE (LEADERSHIP FORMATION ROLE)

This is not a traditional teaching position.
And it’s not for everyone.

Position starts August 24th.

Agape Adventure Academy is a Christian, nature-based microschool forming the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and servants of Christ—training mind, body, and soul through responsibility, movement, discipleship, and meaningful work.

This environment is active, intentional, and formative.
Children are challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually—within a loving, relational culture rooted in faith.

We are building strong, capable, grounded young people who know how to:

• Take responsibility
• Lead themselves
• Serve others
• Think clearly
• Move their bodies with purpose
• Walk with God in daily life

To do that, we need adults who can lead by example.

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

This role is for someone who:

• Lives their faith actively and humbly
• Takes ownership without being micromanaged
• Is comfortable being trusted with real responsibility
• Can hold warmth and standards at the same time
• Is willing to grow personally, not just supervise children
• Understands that leadership is modeled, not managed

You don’t need a teaching certificate.
You do need presence, integrity, and the ability to lead yourself well.

WHAT GUIDES DO AT AGAPE

Guides at Agape:

• Model Christian character, discipline, and service daily
• Lead children through movement, outdoor exploration, and physical challenges
• Use questions and conversation to develop thinking and ownership
• Create an environment of freedom within structure
• Hold children accountable with calm confidence
• Walk alongside students as mentors—not managers
• Participate in ongoing leadership and mindset development

This is an active role—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

THIS ROLE WILL STRETCH YOU

You will be:

• Given autonomy
• Expected to make decisions
• Trusted with leadership
• Invited into growth—personally and professionally

If you need constant direction, rigid scripts, or low expectations, this role will feel uncomfortable.

If you are called to become more grounded, capable, and intentional as an adult while helping children do the same—this may feel like home.
