What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Xray Technician (License Required) position at AG URGENT CARE, P.C.?
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain x-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Implement radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Perform image quality checks and retakes when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely distribution of imaging results.
- Support providers with special studies and coordinate referrals when needed.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Certified X-ray Technician (with updated license)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment and imaging procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Basic computer proficiency for inputting imaging records
