Job Summary :
Hog Slat, Inc. is seeking a Poultry Project Coordinator to join our team to coordinate activities for livestock poultry facility projects based out of Petrey, AL.
As a Poultry Project Coordinator, you will source and manage qualified contractors and subcontractors for these projects. You will work not only with our sales staff to coordinate the projects but also with our distribution team to ensure delivery schedules for construction materials are met and don't slow down construction. The Coordinator will also fill in to supervise projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Source experienced and professional contractors and sub-contractors for poultry barn construction
- Monitor and maintain high quality of work
- Troubleshoot installation/other problems as they arise
- Ensure client satisfaction from the perspective of the actual work and job site
- Periodically meet with the sales staff to review upcoming jobs and estimates
- Keep records of all tools and a check list of who has each tool including site supervisors
- Coordinate with construction supervisors to make sure that all rental equipment is on-site before it's needed by the contractor: skid steers, mini ex, dumpsters, toilets, cranes, pump trucks etc.
- Manage direction books for all sites
- Communicate regularly with the construction manager to ensure all projects are on schedule
- Submit pay requests for all sub-contractors
- Review all invoices for anything ordered
- Adhere to biosecurity protocol for farm sites
- Other duties as assigned by the Construction manager
- Ability to travel extensively - overnight stays will be required
- Scheduling of concrete crews and equipment install crews
- Inspect framing bracing
- Ensure pay requests and sub-contractor agreements are completed accurately
- Assist concrete crew and install crew with problem solving
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar work experience in construction preferred.
- Familiarity with of all phases of construction including but not limited to: concrete, framing, electrical/plumbing
- Previous coursework in construction scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Ability to organize and inspire sub-contractors to exceptional performance
- Knowledge of the poultry industry is preferred
- Must have reliable transportation and a satisfactory driving record for liability and insurance purposes
- Previous fork-lift experience (loading and unloading freight) required, certification preferred
