Hours: 7 days a week with flexible hours during the day.

Essential Job Duties:
- Daily pig care to include feeding, watering, and herd health.
- Maintenance routine such as cleaning dryer vents, greasing anchor bearings and other maintenance tasks, as necessary.
- Keeping detailed and accurate health records
- Understanding and following HFI's biosecurity programs.
- Loading and Unloading animals
- Responsible for alarm calls
- Pressure washing and composting.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and managerial skills
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to train and motivate staff, Contract Partners and colleagues
- Proactive and critical thinker with ability to challenge yourself and others
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills with excellent time management skills
- Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
- A passion to acquire an exciting career in the swine industry
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat and kneel
