The essential functions of this role require the ability to:

Frequent exposure to manufacturing hazards such as moving machinery, forklifts, excessive noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, humidity, heat sources, and shop lighting.
Required to wear and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated for the area or task, including (but not limited to) safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection when on the manufacturing floor. Core Responsibilities
Farm Operations
- Perform daily livestock care including feeding, watering, monitoring health, and maintaining enclosures
- Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops
- Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, mowers, and utility vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of barns, pens, and farm grounds
- Monitor and report issues related to crops, livestock, or equipment
Equipment Maintenance & Repairs
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on farm and facility equipment
- Perform minor repairs on machinery, tools, and infrastructure
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues and coordinating larger repairs
- Maintain maintenance logs and ensure tools are properly stored and cared for
Manufacturing & Production Support
- Assist production team with assembly, packaging, and material handling as needed
- Operate basic machinery and equipment following safety guidelines
- Support workflow by moving materials, staging products, and preparing workstations
- Ensure production areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Facility & Grounds Maintenance
- Maintain buildings, fences, and surrounding property
- Perform general labor such as cleaning, painting, and repairs
- Assist with seasonal projects such as snow removal or landscaping
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures for farm and manufacturing environments
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately
- Comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in agriculture, farm work, manufacturing, or general labor preferred
- Experience operating farm equipment or machinery is a plus
- Basic mechanical or maintenance experience preferred

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a US Citizen (ITAR requirements)
- Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements
- Ability to successfully complete a 90-day probationary period
- Valid driver's license may be required
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Working & Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to work in indoor manufacturing environments with exposure to noise and machinery
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs (occasionally more with assistance)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to operate machinery, tools, and vehicles safely
- Comfortable working around animals, equipment, and production materials
Physical Demands
The essential functions of this role require the ability to:
- Remain in a stationary position (standing or sitting) for extended periods, with frequent standing comprising 60% or more of the shift.
- Move about the facility to access work areas, equipment, materials, and operations (including walking, traversing uneven surfaces, and occasional stair climbing).
- Position self to perform tasks, which may include frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching (overhead, forward, and to the sides), and twisting at the waist-at a minimum of 50% of the shift.
- Lift, carry, push, pull, move, transport, position, install, or remove materials, tooling, parts containers, or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier loads with assistance or mechanical aids.
- Perform repetitive motions, including fine motor tasks such as gripping, reaching, pulling, turning, torquing fixtures, using hand tools, operating machinery, or assembling/machining/testing parts.
