Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their own homes. Duties:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Follow individualized care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients
- Document client progress and report any concerns or changes in condition to supervisor
Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for transporting clients
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or senior care is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Familiarity with resident rights and providing direct support
