3rd Shift Position - Monday to Friday (6pm - 4am)
2nd Shift Position - Monday to Thursday (2pm - Midnight)
Friday (3pm - 1am)
Summary Description
This position will consist of being on your feet the majority of ones day and be exposed daily to the outside environment of a working Feed Mill. Will report directly to the general manager and/or the shift supervisor. Must display strong and positive communication skills. Must be a dedicated and diligent worker that shows the Ag Com Pride in every action this individual is involved in. Must be conscientious to Quality Assurance, Customer Service, and Safety at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload tractor trailer trucks
- Unload railroad cars
- Operation and understanding of trucks and scales
- Carry a two way radio at all times for communication and safety reasons
- Must attend, pass and complete all safety training sessions
- Operate a forklift daily
- Customer service oriented
- Quality Assurance supervision
- Assistance to maintenance as needed
- Complete accurate documentation
- Proper utilization and care for all equipment
- Must be flexible to shift changes upon request under management’s discretion
- Grounds maintenance which includes mowing, weed eating, snow removal, tree and flower bed care, little detail, rodent and insect control, sweeping, power washing, painting, and must be very involved in maintaining the complex to its highest potential at all times.
Qualifications:
- Agricultural background a plus but not a requirement.
- A college or high school diploma is a plus but not a requirement.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Must be able to follow instructions and have strong communication skills.
- Must become a TEAM player and give 100% effort at all times. Must be able to get along with others and show pride in every action involved in.'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
