What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performers for 54 Sings Noah Kahan: The Great Divide position at AfterThought Production?
DESCRIPTION
"54 Sings Noah Kahan: The Great Divide" is a concert at 54 Below, produced by Affiliate Producers Moana Poyer, Brennan Trudel, and Andi Maroney with AfterThought Production. This performance is celebrating the music of Noah Kahan’s album The Great Divide on September 14th, 2026 at 9:30PM. Performers will need to be available for the performance, the soundcheck from 1-3PM that same day, a dress rehearsal the weekend before, as well as at least one rehearsal with the project's Music Director, with flexible scheduling based on everyone's availability.
Interested performers should submit via the Open Casting Initiative form on AfterThought's website at www.afterthought.productions/open-casting, and include a clip of something from the album or a similar style.
Performers will be assigned and/or select their piece for the performance in collaboration with the Aff. Producer(s) and Music Director, and it may not be the piece you submit for open casting.
This project is paid, with either flat fees or split of profit from the performance after fees amongst the performers, so while there is not guaranteed fee for all contracts, the more performers help the team sell tickets, the more everyone walks home with! Performers will also receive footage and photos from the event, free of charge.
