DESCRIPTION

No, lies baby! is a new upcoming short film.
Runa is a young girl attending on of the elite colleges in NYC. Her friends and classmates belong to the New York high society. They all think she is a part of their community. But Runa has a secret...the only way she can pay for college is through scholarships, a sugar daddy and a hidden past that should better not get revealed. But someone seems to know about her past and blackmails her...

Runa:
Female, any ethnicity, in her 20s. Runa is a young girl pretenting to be part of Manhattan's high society. She wants something bigger in life. She is not a victim but not a villain either but she would still do almost anything in order to protect her secrets. Actress needs to be comfortable with simulated sex scenes with the actor of Daniel and wearing lingerie. No kissing Actress must also be comfortable with simulating to get hit by the actress of Sharon.

Jenny:
Female, in her 20s, Person of color jenny is Runa's bubbly best friend. She belongs to New York City's high society. She doesn't know any of Runa's secrets.

The Professor:
Male, 30-50s, any ethnicity. He is the social studies professor at Runa's college.

Sharon:
Female, 40-50s, any ethnicity. She is Runa's mother. Her and Runa have a very difficult relationship. She is an alcoholic and in denial that her husband (Runa's father) deserves to be in prison because of domestic violence. She does care about Runa in her own way, she just can't show it.
Actress must be comfortable with simulating to hit Runa in one scene and smoking fake cigarettes.

Daniel:
Male, in his 30-40s, any ethnicity. He is a very rich business man and Runa's secret Sugar daddy. Actor must be comfortable with simulated sex scenes and taking off his shirt, with the actress of Runa. No kissing

Mr. Patricks:
Male, 30-40s, any ethnicity Mr Patricks is a young ambitious teacher at one of the most prestigious highschools in NYC. He has a secret affair with one of his students. Actors must be comfortable with simulating intimacy with the actress of Charlene (Charlene is already cast). No nudty required

Rich college kid's of NYC's high society (BG)
These kids are the children and heir's of NYC's high society. Their families represent old money. 1 Day shoot
