What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary After-School Spanish Club Instructors (Part-Time) position at Afterschool Enrichment Solutions?
Have fun teaching after-school enrichment classes to groups of elementary school kids! Afterschool Enrichment Solutions was founded in 2001 as an after-school chess club. Today we work with thousands of schools and provide a wide array of programming to over 30,000 students.
We are looking to fill instructor openings for our Spanish enrichment classes near
Lakewood, OH 44107.
We offer fall, winter, spring and summer assignments. This is a part-time, mid-afternoon, contract position. No teaching degree required - your energy and passion to work with children is most important.
An ideal candidate has excellent classroom management skills and an energetic personality. Experience with youth a plus. We are seeking individuals with positive and energetic personalities.
Every instructor will have to clear a rigorous criminal background check. Reliable transportation is required. This is a part-time, 1099 position. Schedules are flexible. Know someone who fits the mold? Share our information.
Expectations:
- Proficient in Spanish
- Must arrive to class at least 15-minutes prior to start
- Payments are issued on a monthly basis, following month of service, i.e. October classes are issued in November, on or before the 21st of the month
- Must communicate behavioral concerns to scheduling manager
- Must clear a background check
- Must complete a W-9, this is a contract position
- All materials needed for class will be available on-site
- Programs are held at an elementary school, after regular school hours
