The project
AfterQuery, a research lab backed by Y Combinator and Box Group, builds novel datasets. This contract engagement focuses on designing and evaluating personal planning and advisory scenarios for AI training.
Your contributions
- Develop high-quality planning questions and case studies that connect retirement goals, investment allocation, tax strategies, estate planning, and risk management.
- Review and validate model responses, explaining planning tradeoffs and documenting detailed, actionable feedback.
- Evaluate whether responses communicate clearly to clients and account for regulatory compliance.
What you bring
Required: a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline, plus active securities licenses (Series 7, Series 65/66, or equivalent) OR proven experience as a financial advisor or in wealth management.
Preferred: CFP, CFA, or a similar professional designation, and multiple years working with diverse client segments.
Working arrangement
Fully remote and asynchronous, with project-based contract assignments totaling roughly 10 hours per week. The engagement is ongoing with an ASAP start. Compensation is $85–$105 per hour. The subject matter is personal and consumer financial planning.
