Role Description
This on-site Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) role is a full-time position located in Orlando/Oviedo locations. In this role, the APRN will provide high-quality care to pediatric patients, including evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries. The professional will collaborate with the healthcare team, document patient care accurately, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, prescribing medications, and delivering urgent care services in alignment with medical protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills in pediatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Proficiency in patient care documentation and patient communication.
- Knowledge of urgent care protocols, medication administration, and lab result interpretation.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current APRN license in the state of Florida and certification in Pediatrics or Family Practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
- Prior experience in pediatric or urgent care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
