In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or business with 24 semester hours in accounting or a combination of professional experience that provides equivalent professional experience. Experience with analyzing system problems and applying sound judgment to address the practical implications of alternative solutions, as well as in developing financial, cash management, and internal control policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
- Experience communicating effectively both orally and writing with personnel at all levels with varying degrees of technical experience.
- Experience with the use of personal computers and standard business software applications.
- NAF Accounting or financial management analysis experience.

Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, enhances, implements and maintains Air Force Services payroll, accounting and other management information computer systems (MIS). Responsible for ensuring that these systems are effective, efficient, and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Federal and Defense Regulations as well as Air Force Chief of Staff policy. Develops project plans which specify the principles of the work to be accomplished with expected completion dates for each primary work element. Prepares and executes system test plans to assure the MIS meet the certification standards as set forth by DOD, OMB, GAO, and Treasury. Provides operating entities with guidance for system implementation and identifies base/MAJCOM training requirements for MIS use.
