We are looking for a seasoned operator who can take ownership of day-to-day operations and help build this into a multi-million dollar service business.
Role Description:
This is not a passive management role. You will be the operational backbone of the company—responsible for execution, team performance, client satisfaction, and building systems that scale.
For the right candidate, this role includes a clear path to profit-sharing or equity participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Execution
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple commercial sites
- Manage scheduling, routing, and workforce allocation
- Ensure consistent service delivery and quality control across all jobs
- Step in to troubleshoot urgent issues, call-offs, and client escalations
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and manage cleaning staff and supervisors
- Build accountability systems (attendance, performance, quality checks)
- Develop team leads and create a reliable field structure
Client Management
- Serve as point of contact for key commercial clients
- Conduct site walkthroughs and inspections
- Resolve complaints quickly and professionally
- Maintain high client retention and satisfaction
Systems & Scaling
- Implement SOPs for cleaning standards, onboarding, and operations
- Improve efficiency, margins, and service consistency
- Track KPIs (labor cost %, retention, quality scores, etc.)
- Help build the infrastructure to scale to additional contracts and locations
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facilities management
- Proven experience managing teams in the field (not just office-based)
- Strong understanding of cleaning workflows, equipment, and standards
- Experience with multi-site operations and client management
- Ability to solve problems quickly under pressure
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
- Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience scaling a cleaning or service-based business
- Knowledge of bidding, estimating, or contract pricing
- Spanish-speaking ability
- Experience implementing systems or operational software
