Position Summary
AFP Industries Inc., a distributor of industrial parts, is looking for an HR Manager to join the team taking AFP to the next level as it steadily grows its customer base by adding new locations in its six-state footprint. The Human Resources Manager supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Human Resources function. This role ensures the effective delivery of HR services, regulatory compliance, and a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Managing recruitment, hiring and onboarding.
- Employee Relations
- Maintaining a positive work environment, acting as a bridge between management and employees, addressing grievances.
- Compensation and Benefits
- Administering payroll, benefits and retirement plan.
- Performance and Talent Management
- Working with Managers to develop, maintain and review employee performance and development.
- Compliance & Policy
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations and maintaining updated company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
- Knowledge of HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
