What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at AFP Industries Inc?
This position is responsible for assisting the warehouse manager with maintaining inventory including shipping/receiving, quality control, and kit assembly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pulling customer orders and packing.
- Ship and receive stock via UPS/FedEx/motor freight/sea container/courier.
- Receive stock electronically utilizing business management software.
- Assembly of hydraulic hoses and hose kits.
- Perform cycle counting on warehouse inventory.
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Ensure FIFO inventory control is practiced.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
Physical Requirement:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to remain walking/standing 85% of the time.
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Logistics experience a plus.
