What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales & Warehouse Worker position at AFP Industries Inc?
This position performs hose assemblies, interacts with customers, fills and processes customer orders, maintains organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make hose assemblies for hydraulic, industrial, chemical, air, etc. hoses.
- Greets and interacts with customers, assisting with purchases.
- Collects and processes onsite payments.
- Maintains an accurate running inventory and maintains inventory levels.
- Restocks supplies and inventory.
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Order Picking, Receiving & Shipping.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate a forklift (training available).
Physical Requirement:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Education Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
