Key Responsibilities
- Install and activate high-speed internet and voice services over copper infrastructure
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of broadband lines and equipment
- Run, terminate, and test copper cabling (inside and outside the home)
- Install network interface devices (NIDs), modems, and related equipment
- Diagnose service issues using testing tools and resolve connectivity problems
- Educate customers on service usage and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate job documentation and service records
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements
- Experience in telecommunications, broadband, or copper line installation preferred
- Strong understanding of copper wiring, DSL, or voice services (a plus, not required)
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Must have own vehicle and tools required to perform installations
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
