We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Lab Technician to join our dynamic research team. Duties
- Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures in accordance with GLP, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
- Conduct microbiological, histological, molecular biology, and clinical laboratory tests with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of experiments, sample data, and results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Ensure adherence to quality control protocols to guarantee the integrity of test results.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support research & development projects.
- Prepare samples for analysis using various laboratory techniques including histology and molecular biology methods.
- Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and proper handling of biological materials, including animal tissues or specimens when applicable.
- Support regulatory audits by ensuring documentation accuracy and lab compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with research teams to facilitate scientific investigations related to veterinary or human health.
Skills
- Strong understanding of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and laboratory procedures.
- Proficiency in microbiology, histology, molecular biology techniques, and clinical laboratory practices.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
- Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail for accurate data collection and interpretation.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and animal physiology is advantageous.
- Ability to perform laboratory techniques such as sample preparation, staining, PCR, cell culture, or other relevant methods.
- Strong math skills for quantitative analysis of experimental data.
- Industrial or research laboratory experience preferred; experience in microbiology or clinical labs is a plus.
