Serving as a locum tenens Dentist with Affordable Dentures & Implants is a truly unique and rewarding experience! Full autonomy over your availability and schedule with the opportunity to travel to practices in your area, across the state, or even the nation. Whether you’re filling in for a day, a week, or an ongoing basis, you’ll be providing much-needed dental services to those who need it all while keeping your skills fresh and up to date! Each practice has an on-site dental laboratory, allowing the practice to provide same day dental services including extractions, dentures and implants. Affordable Care is the DSO for two top dental brands: Affordable Dentures & Implants and DDS Dentures Implant Solutions. From the Affordable Care Support Center, located in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park, along with field-based teams, Affordable Care provides business expertise and support services to dental practices, taking care of non-clinical duties so dentists can focus on treating patients. - Travel accommodations provided, with mileage reimbursement when applicable
- Malpractice-Professional liability insurance provided (if needed)
- Healthy Work Life Balance! Monday through Friday workweeks, with no nights, no weekends, and no call
- Provide removable prosthetics, including same day in-house immediate and replacement dentures
- Single and full mouth extraction services, alveoplasty as needed, and other various surgical procedures
- Denture related services such as relines, rebase, repairs, adjustments, softliners etc.
- Present treatment plans for new patient consulations
- Collaborate closely with the on-site removable laboratory team as well as auxillary support staff
- D DS or DMD from an accredited US School of Dentistry
- State and DEA licensing in the state you will be practicing
- Experience and confidence with taking impressions for dentures, surgical extractions, and implant resotration
- Ability to get along well with others, compassionate patient care, and good chair-side manners
- One-day paid working interview is sometimes required before an assignment is given*
- All hires must complete a criminal background report and NPDB Report*
