FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN (comfortable with National Travel)
Openings for various skillsets 1) Mechanical 2) Electrical and/or Electronics
Weekly Compensation Package
- Base Pay
- Untaxed Weekly Per Diem: generally in $400-$500 in weekly untaxed per diem (based on IRS rates per city/state) with no expenses taken out
- Overtime (expect a good amount)
- Bonus: Flight hours applied to your weekly hours – (i.e. work 50 hours, fly 5 hours = 55 hours worked)
- All Expenses pre-paid & all rental vehicles, flights, hotels, etc are pre-booked in advance (nothing out of pocket)
The Field Technicians will support mechanical, electrical and/or electronics systems i.e. conveyors, (Amazon) robotics & automated systems, package handling equipment, sorting & scanning equipment, etc for customers namely Amazon, UPS, USPS, etc across the US
- Ability to travel up to 75%, at a minimum to customers facilities to install, diagnose, commission and repair equipment.
- Responsibilities may include some or a combination of: installation, upgrades, service & repairs, installation troubleshooting, trial runs, testing, commissioning, customer care & training. Additional training on Siemens products will be provided.
- Provide field installation, system upgrades, system troubleshooting and repairs and training support for customers in the field
- Provide remote support via phone calls, emails to other Field Service Engineers, management, engineering and the client as needed.
- Installation and commissioning of equipment and provide training to the end user.
SKILLS
- At least 3 years experience in at least 1 of the 3 areas 1) Mechanical 2) Electrical and/or 3) Electronics
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to travel regularly – 75% or more

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
