What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance Technician position at Affinity Property Solutions?
Job Summary:
Join our rapidly growing team of maintenance technicians who serve the maintenance and repair needs of property owners across the Salt Lake valley and surrounding areas. You will perform a variety of maintenance work-orders under the direction of a maintenance coordinator and supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and plumbing repairs, etc.
- Troubleshoot problems and repairs
- Completion of maintenance workorders
- Assessing scope of work required and materials needed to complete a maintenance task
- Making purchases for maintenance tasks
- Submitting proper documentation for purchases
- Documenting completed work in software program (pictures, descriptions, etc.)
- Cleaning up after repair work is completed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Strong multi-skill handyman background experience required (3-5 years)
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship/craftsmanship
- Strong work ethic paired with honesty and integrity
- Strong communication skills
SKILLS
- Basic electrical (fixtures, outlets, switches, etc.)
- Basic plumbing (stoppages, leaks, fittings, garbage disposals, toilets, etc.)
- Basic painting-interior and exterior
- Basic carpentry (door, trim, casing, etc.)
- Basic sprinkler repair
- Basic tile work and flooring repair
- Basic drywall repair
- Basic custodial (clean up after yourself when repairs are completed)
- Must be willing to work with other team members as well as independently.
