Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Worker role based in Greenacres, FL. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs across the community, including general building upkeep, minor plumbing and carpentry work, and basic equipment servicing. Daily tasks include inspecting common areas, identifying repair needs, completing work orders, and ensuring that tools and equipment are used safely and correctly. The role also involves preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and maintain property appearance, collaborating with property management, and responding to resident and board requests in a timely and professional manner. The Maintenance Worker will help maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for all residents and visitors.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance on building systems and facilities.
- Proficiency in using Power Tools safely and effectively for routine repair and maintenance tasks.
- Basic Carpentry skills for minor repairs, installations, and structural adjustments.
- Basic Plumbing skills for troubleshooting and resolving common plumbing issues.
- Experience in residential or commercial property maintenance is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate loads, work indoors and outdoors, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused, professional demeanor when interacting with residents and board members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures; reliable transportation and punctuality required.
