Travel Nurse - RN - Long Term Care

Role: Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering skilled nursing care in a facility setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health, develop and update personalized care plans, and administer medications and treatments safely.
• Monitor residents for changes, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, delegate tasks, and support staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Educate residents and families on treatments and chronic condition management.
• Document care activities, adhere to safety and regulatory standards, and perform skilled procedures like wound care and IV therapy.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent RN experience in long-term care (minimum one year).
• Valid RN license, current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred.
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform clinical tasks, work effectively with diverse teams, and maintain professionalism.
• Proficiency in documentation, reading instructions, and using PC tools.
