- Supervising and supporting licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other care team members
- Planning, assigning, and directing resident care based on individual needs and staff capabilities
- Preparing work schedules, adjusting staffing as necessary, and managing staffing calls and replacements
- Conducting performance evaluations and participating in hiring, disciplinary actions, and staff development
- Overseeing unit operations in the absence of higher management
- Using independent judgment in compliance with policies and regulations
- Current state RN license
- CPR certification (or within 90 days of employment)
- Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred
