We are seeking a registered nurse to join a 41-bed orthopedic unit specializing in patient care for joint replacements, trauma, urology, and gynecology.

- Performing patient assessments, developing and updating individualized care plans, and implementing nursing interventions.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided for seamless communication within the healthcare team.
- Educating patients on wound care, mobility, medication management, and care transitions.
- Coordinating with physicians and surgeons, delegating tasks to support staff, and managing surgical devices and wound appliances.
- Ensuring patient and staff safety, and participating in departmental training and compliance activities.
- Assessing both orthopedic and medical/surgical patients each shift, with a focus on quality and safety standards.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Valid nursing license issued by the state’s licensing authority.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- Educational background with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education abilities.
- Ability to coordinate care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of wound management, orthopedic devices, and safety protocols.
